Unique Experiences
KITESURFING: Sail with the wind like never before. The wind season is from the beginning of November to the end of May.
CATAMARAN AT SUNSET: Watch the sunset amidst the multicolored nest of clouds gliding in and out of the vast ocean.
BIOLUMINESCENCE: During the day, the crystal clear water and white sandbanks of the sea seem to reflect the depth of the sky. At night, the coal-black ocean is illuminated by a thousand emerald dots that cover the surface with light. This phenomenon can usually be observed from July to January.
HORSEBACK RIDING: Certain parts of the island can only be reached by horse, allowing you to connect with nature in a completely different way.
Whale Shark
Season: May 15th to September 15th
The whale shark, the largest fish in the world, comes every year to visit Holbox. It is totally harmless, so you will have the opportunity to swim next to it, in an incredible experience. During the boat tour, you may also encounter turtles, rays, dolphins, and many other species.
