BY CAR: In cancun first you have to get to the street: Lopez Portillo this is the road going out from Cancun to Merida. At the end of street Lopez Portillo there is a division between the Merida Libre and the Merida Cuota. Keep right and take the libre.The couta will take you all the way to valladolid and will be a detour of 2 hours.

After about an hour you will get to a little village called "Nuevo Valladolid" you have to take a right at the first "tope" (speed bump) This will take you on to a road that will take you through 2 more villages. At the end of the second village there is a T-junction take a right.

This road will take you to the regions capital witch is called Kantunilkin. You will have to pass through all the centre but keep going straight. You will exit Kantunilkin again. From now on it is straight forward. Just keep following the road. And you will pass through a little village called Solverino and after that you entre in Chiquila.

PARKING your car in Chiquila is easy. Just before you entre the only round-about in chiquila on your right is a private parking witch is called " Don Cirilo estacionamiento" There you can park your car for FREE if you stay with us a Hotel Casa las Tortugas.

BY PLANE: To /from Cancun or Playa del Carmen, a nice Cessna can takes you directly to/from the island enjoying the beautiful view of the lagoon.

In high season every hour a ferry boat start .
In normal seasons every two hours
How long: 20 min.
Ticket's price: $45 pesos ( around USD 4,50 )
