THE PROGRAM
DAY 1 :Breakfast at the Hotel Casa Las Tortugas. This morning is dedicated to review portfolios. After lunch there will be the 1st Lecture on camera settings and rules of composition . In the evening we gather for a welcome recepcion and dinner at the restaurant Victoria´s.

DAY 2: After breakfast we ll going around town to catch the spirit of this fisherman village For lunch we ll eat to a local house where they prepare fresh fish and tortillas. A 2nd Lecture session at the hotel where we cover all the aspects of how to use light in a creative way focusing on flash management.. Editing and critique session in the night.
DAY 3 : We ll finally going out to swim with the gentle Whale shark. It will be a full day trip. We ll have an editing and then dinner at the Hotel restaurant. |
DAY 4: After breakfast , morning is dedicated to explore a little more the village and the local houses and inhabitants. Lunch at the hotel. A 3rd Lecture on editing, sequencing and story development is waiting for you. In the afternoon we’ ll photograph the preparation of the coconut oil by a local women. Editing session and critique in the night.
DAY 5: We ll go for a sunrise shooting in the lagoon to see flamingoes and other birds waking up. Coming back to the hotel for a nice breakfast. The rest of the day is dedicated to shoot in the village . We'll meet for an aperative at the hotel bar and for our editing session.
DAY 6: After breakfast , we ll go to photograph one local guitar workshop and his owner Don Victor. He will explaine us the story of old Holbox and he will tell us a lot of interesting fisherman´s adventures. Editing and critic session.
DAY 7: After breakfast well have some more editing and we prepare the final work of the week, that each students will show in the night. The day is free for the last shooting on the island. Cocktail at the hotel restaurant , final show and dinner.
DAY 8: After breakfast , transfer to the airport for your flight home. |
