The new and highly acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant ‘Mandarina’ occupies the entire ground floor of the main beachfront ‘palapa’ and is decorated in an array of diverse local artwork, colourful candles and sofas for lounging. It is the genuine heart of the hotel, where time slips by as you enjoy a drink at the bar, chat with other guests, or simply gaze out to sea and watch a spectacular sunset.
The restaurant’s cuisine concept comes from the collaboration between Greta and the experienced chef, Jorge Melul. Only fresh organic food prepared daily is served, including homemade bread, croissants, cakes and papaya jam for breakfast and homemade Italian pasta with pesto for lunch or dinner - all of this without losing the rich exclusive flavour of the Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisine.
Fish is purchased daily from local fishermen and farmers from nearby villages deliver fresh organic fruit and vegetables twice a week, resulting in a healthy and delicious dining experience every day.
